Two units required
Tolerances for the gear is important, please specify what tolerances you can maintain in any response
Aluminium 7075 due to strength, but am open to alternative material options

Alternative design:
Based on feedback on manufacturability, I’ve uploaded an alternative two piece design (would need two of each part).
Part1 from 7075 or similar
Part2 from suitably hard wearing material (brass has been suggested)
Both parts to fit together
