Turntable Bearing Parts

i am modifying a Hi-Fi turntable to take a new design of platter and damping. At the moment i require two parts in order to adapt the existing inverted bearing.
They are show below together with a drawing of a completed sub assemble.
The parts will be seen so are to be finished with an anodized coating.
I am not experienced at component design so any advice would be welcome.
I am assuming a suitable hard aluminium will be sufficient to support a 18kg platter.
