Raw aluminium heatsink base dimension 165x100mm needs to be machined to get a very flat mirror finish base. Not sure if fly cutting may be the best method ? Will post heatsink to winning supplier. CAD image of heatsink attached. Need to remove absolute minimum of material. Note that the heatsink already has 4 M4 tapped holes made in the surface to be machined.
